1. YOUR PERSONAL DATA WHICH WE COLLECT AND OBTAIN

1.1 Hatched Limited trading as “Hatched” or “Data Bees” ("we", "our", "us", "Hatched" or “Data Bees”) of 60 The Avenue, Woodpark Ballinteer, Dublin 16, Dublin, are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information which is detailed below ("Personal Data").

This privacy statement ("Statement") describes the Personal Data which we process when you engage with the Data Bees Platform in accordance with applicable data protection laws. The Data Bees Platform includes the website and its functionality which is located at https://www.data-bees.com/ , and the mobile software application which is made available by us and is downloadable from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.

The Personal Data provided by you will be held by us as a data controller unless otherwise stated.

1.2 This Statement (together with our terms of use as set out at https://www.data-bees.com/app-terms/, the "Terms") applies to your use the Platform.

1.3 Capitalised and undefined terms in this Statement cross refer and draw their meaning from the Terms.

Information you give us to set up an Account and by using the Platform

We will collect and process some of your Personal Data to set up your Account, so that you can fully engage with the Platform.

You may give us personal information by filling in forms on the Platform, signing-up to use the Platform, or by corresponding with us (for example, by e-mail or chat).

If you wish to use the Platform, the information you give us may include the following:

Information submitted to us for Projects

The information which we require for each Project will be in the Project Guide for the relevant Project on the Platform. In general, the type of information we will purchase from you will be emails, screenshots, order data (or similar) which relate to the purchase and sale of good or services from Third Parties. Third Parties are usually listed public corporations which offer goods and services to consumers, such as you.

You may elect to provide Personal Data when providing the information necessary in the relevant Project Guide when participating in Projects. This enables us to review whether or not you have information which we desire, and whether or not you are entitled to Rewards. We do not request receipts or invoices which contain personal information (including but not limited to names, billing addresses, shipping addresses or phone numbers). We request that you remove/redact all personal information from any purchase-related information which is shared with us to ensure your privacy. Of course, we will necessarily know that it was you who submitted the relevant purchase information.

Gmail Account Information

If you connect your Gmail account to the Data Hive on our Platform, we will ingest the contents of your email account and process that Personal Data to search for data which relates to companies which we are monitoring. That is a look back scan of your inbox. We also perform a continuous forward-looking scan of your Gmail inbox from the date you join onwards, which involved the Platform using search criteria to selecting the emails which is relevant to us about the companies which we are monitoring at the time.

Information collected when Gmail connection is established:

  • PayPal address (for issuing automated rewards)

If you use the Platform on your mobile device, we may collect data about your device. This may include unique identifiers associated with your device and other forms of Device Metadata such as:

Certain of the Personal Data which is submitted to us under Headings 2 and 3 above, which are “Information submitted to us for “Projects”, and “Gmail Account Information” respectively will be Special Category Data. Where we collect Personal Data under those Headings, then we process such data on the basis of consent.

Special Category Data means the processing of Personal Data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a natural person, data concerning health or data concerning a natural person’s sex life or sexual orientation.

Performance of Contract

We process Personal Data that is not Special Category Data under the legal basis of performance of a contract.

Projects

We undertake Projects which are referred to as such on the Platform. If you participate in Projects then we will ingest Personal Data from you in relation to certain corporate entities, which we call “Tickers” from time to time. You may choose to participate in whatever Project you wish and offer your information to Hatched, which may contain some Personal Data.

Gmail Connection on Platform

We use the Personal Data which is collected from the Gmail connection on the platform to monitor business performance of corporate entities.

Access to the Platform

To provide you with access to the Platform and to enable you to use the Platform including the opportunity to earn rewards by sharing purchase receipts contained in your personal email box.

Access to Your Personal email account (Gmail)

To connect the app to your Gmail account and mailbox including Gmail password, PayPal information and disconnection details.

Improving Platform Functionality and Efficiency

To provide, improve, test and monitor the effectiveness of the Platform.

To monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic data and demographic patterns.

Responding to Queries and Complaints

To process and respond to any queries or complaints you submit to us.

4.1 Your Personal Data will not be stored or transferred outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). We hold all of our personal data in accordance with appropriate standards of IT security. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to or from the website; any transmission is at your own risk. 5. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR

5.1 In general, we expect to keep your Personal Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. However, please note that in certain circumstances we may hold certain of your Personal Data for a longer period, for example, if we are processing an ongoing claim or believe in good faith that the law or a relevant regulator may reasonably in our view expect or require us to preserve your Personal Data. The criteria we will use to determine the period for which we will hold your personal data include: (a) the length of our relationship with you; (b) whether we are under a legal obligation under applicable data protection laws which requires the retention of your Personal Data; (c) whether the retention of your Personal Data is required in light of our legal position.

You may request us to provide you with your Personal Data which you have given us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and you may request us to transmit your Personal Data directly to another data controller where this is technically feasible. This right only arises where we process your Personal Data on the legal bases of your consent or where it is necessary to perform our contract with you.

You have a right to object at any time to the processing of your Personal Data where we process your Personal Data on the legal basis of pursuing our consent.

7. PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR CHILDREN

7.1 Children under the age of 16 should not use the website and must not attempt to sign-up to the website and/or submit any personal information to us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any person who is under the age of 16 via our website. If it comes to our attention that we have collected Personal Data from a person under the age of 16, we will delete this information as soon as reasonably possible.
